Ruchi Cohen’s path to midwifery began with the births of her own children. That transformative experience led her to become a birth doula, eventually fueling her journey through nursing school at Lehman College and a Master’s in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.

After refining her expertise in busy hospital settings and a group homebirth practice, Ruchi recognized a need for a more individualized approach. Today, she provides boutique homebirth midwifery care with a particular focus on connection and relationship. 

Ruchi views birth as a natural, physiological process that thrives in a safe and calm environment. She believes that the months of prenatal care are more than just check-ups; they are the foundation of a partnership. By the time labor begins, this deep bond of trust ensures that every woman feels empowered to have the birth experience she desires.

When she isn't attending births, Ruchi can be found spending time with her husband and six children, listening to podcasts, lost in a book, or at the gym. She is proud to serve her community in English, German, and Hebrew.
